Obtaining a BA in both Dance and Sociology reflects my growing dedication bridging the gap between dance, social justice and social advocacy. The potential power of movement to act as an advocate, teacher, or healer for persons dealing with issues of classism, racism, or sexism ranging in (but not limited to) PTSD, alcohol and substance abuse, intimate partner violence, or sexual assault intrigues me as a student, researcher, artist, and advocate.
